This guide will show you where to get Ice Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, guaranteed, and where you can get it as a battle reward for key enemies.

Ice Stone as Random Loot

Believe it or not, Ice Stones aren’t particularly rare in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You just need to keep your eyes open on Glaceado Mountain.

Across Glaceado Mountain are randomized sparkling spots just begging for you to gather from them and potentially get an Ice Stone. Poke Balls scattered throughout the region may also have Ice Stones, so be sure to gather what you can when exploring the area.

Inside Dalizapa Passage

The fastest way to get an Ice Stone is in Dalizapa Passage cave. Climb your way up (or jump, whatever works) the northern portion of the cave until you come across a Poke Ball. Loot it and an Ice Stone will be yours.

Ice Stone as a Reward

Lastly, players can obtain an Ice Stone after successfully completing the Blizzard Course on the Snow Slope Run, which can be accessed at Glaceado Gym (indicated on the map above).

Note that the course becomes available only after you complete the Glaceado’s Gym Battle, which requires you to beat Grusha gym leader. Then, you need to complete the Powder Snow Course, and finally you can do the Blizzard Course, which rewards an Ice Stone.

Ice Stone Pokemon Evolutions

There are three types of Pokemon that use Ice Stone for evolutions, including:

Eevee into Glaceon. Crabrawler into Crabominable. Cetoddle into Cetitan.
