Community Days are short, three-hour events featuring specific Pokemon, and Rhyhorn is the first Community Day Pokemon chosen solely by fans. The February Community Day starts February 22 at 11 a.m. local time and runs until 2 p.m. local time.
During the event, you’ll be more likely to encounter Rhyhorn in Raids and wild battles and more likely to encounter Shiny Rhyhorn. The special bonus for this Community Day is a catch bonus of 3x Stardust.
Also during the event, you get the chance to evolve Rhyhorn into Rhyperior and teach it the special move Rock Wrecker. That means bypassing the Rhydon stage completely, so if you’re wanting the ultimate Rhyhorn experience, this is the way to go.
There’s been a lot happening this month in Pokemon GO, and it’s not over yet. There’s still the special Pokemon Day event in Pokemon GO to look forward to.
