Design and Display

In terms of design, the F2 Pro features an all-glass body, with a circular camera arrangement on the rear and a pop-up module for the front-facing camera. Towards the front, it has a 6.67-inch FHD+ E3 AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate a 180Hz touch response rate. The display offers support for HDR10+ and Widevine L1 certification. Moreover, both the front and the back of the phone come with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The F2 Pro comes in four colorways: Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple, and Cyber Gray. It’s practically the rebranded Redmi K30 Pro which was launched last month in China.

Performance

At its core, the Poco F2 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 865, the top-of-the-line chipset for flagships, built on the 7nm processor. The processor comes with improved AI performance and the X55 5G modem and the Adreno 650 GPU that promises up to 25% performance improvement. Assisting the processor is 6GB / 8GB of LPPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. To power the internals, there is a 4700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, which the company suggests offers a 2-day battery life. For connectivity, the F2 Pro offers support for 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. As for other specifications, the device comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. Moreover, there is also LiquidCool 2.0 to assist with better cooling and prevent performance throttling.

In the camera department, the F2 Pro sports a quad-camera setup on the rear, with an LED flash. The setup includes a 64MP primary (Sony IMX686) sensor with f/1.89 aperture, along with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 123-degree FoV, a 5MP macro lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the device has a 20MP camera within a pop-up mechanism for selfies.
