Thanks to numerous leaks and exclusive APK files we know what Pixel 4 might have to offer. As always some people who managed to get hold of the demo units posted pictures and videos on social media. However, some of them want to make a quick buck and have listed the Pixel 4 demo unit on Shopee, a Malaysian auction site.
Typically, demo units differ from production units. The latter comes with unfinished features and might also look different from the final version. Now, this raises questions about the legitimacy of such devices, especially since it might be stolen or procured by illegal means. As 9to5Google points out, none of the Pixel 4 listings come with retail packaging. The seller is substituting a retail package with a styrofoam case and bundling it with an official 18W charger brick.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Pixel 4 is priced at RM 4,999 ($1,200.) That being said, the listing confirms some details about the upcoming Pixel 4. For instance, the seller is bundling a headphone dongle and in all likelihood, the retail package might contain the dongle as well. Furthermore, the seller has also posted Pixel 4 images at various angles and has also compared it with iPhone 11 Pro. In this picture, we can see that both Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 Pro come equipped with a triple camera setup at the rear. The listing also mentions that Pixel 4 will come with a full warranty. Needless to say, this is a dubious claim and we are pretty sure that Google will not honor the warranty for a demo unit that was probably stolen in the first place. Google Pixel 4 is expected to launch this month.
